Gore offers lessons for kids and adults, beginning at age four. They offer Kid Lessons, Daily Lessons, Mountain Adventure Project, Holiday Camps, Private Lessons, and Bear Cub Den Daycare.

Hickory offers private lessons for 1 to 8 (!) hours, semi-private for 2-4 people and even a family, and group lessons, for ages 4-15 years old. They also have a parent and child class for ages 3-6. Hickory also offers lesson packages of up to 5 full day or half day lessons. They allow skiing and snowboarding.

West mountain has tubing, skiing and snowboarding and lessons for all ages and abilities. They have Daily Lessons, Private Lessons, a 6-week mid-week and a 7-week weekend package. Some of the group lessons are Snow Squirts for ages 4-6, First Tracks and Conquer the Mountain for kids over 7yrs old, and Private Lessons for ages 4 and above.

The Little Colonel Lesson Program is available weekends for kids from 4-7 years old. The 6 week program is available as a morning, afternoon or full day package. Morning sessions are 9AM – 1PM and afternoons are 1:30PM – 6PM. “Walk-ins” with reservations are welcome to the Little Colonel Ski School Program. Your $38 includes an all area lift ticket, lesson, and rental.
The Star Program was started at Willard Mountain 30 years ago. It is a very unique program that advances students through the four stars–red, blue, silver and gold. The program meets 16 sessions throughout the season and is geared towards skiing families.
The All Mountain Program is geared for intermediate to advanced skiers. The purpose of the program is for the participants to further hone the skills previously learned and to be exposed to a wider variety of terrain and challenges.
Willard also offer group and private lessons. They have skiing, tubing and a magic carpet.
