Experience Events at the Studio at 526 Maple Ave in Saratoga Springs is a great place to have a party for kids. They offer customized parties for whatever theme you choose, and they can also bring the party to you and design, set up and even supervise the party so you can enjoy! In addition to that, they also have The Party Crate-a COMPLETE party in a crate! They provide everything you need to have a stylish party in one box-including favors, invites, decor, grocery list etc. You just have to pull the items out of the crate and follow the directions! Creative Sparks • 42 Phila Street • 583-2030 Hours of Operation: Tuesday 10-4, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 10-6, Thursday 10-9, Sunday 12-5pm. This is a fun hands on birthday idea for kids to get creative and make something on their own! Birthday parties are typically 1 1/2 hours long and are $20 per painter. There is no limit on the number of painters, but larger groups would typically be held after hours.
The Children’s Museum at Saratoga • 69 Caroline Street • 584-5540 Always an excellent place to go for kids. The birthday parties are held in the room upstairs, so you have plenty of space. Read all about what they offer here.
East Side Recreation Field • Lake Avenue • 587-3550 If you have a birthday in the summer, this is a fun and simple idea. East Side Rec has the sprinkler fountain, a playground, lots of space for running around and playing games, and shady spots to get out of the sun.
Gavin Park • 10 Lewis Drive • 584-9455 Have a party at the playground and you get a large covered picnic area to have lunch and cake. The Town of Wilton also lists that they have two party packages, the Crafty Kid and the Sporty Sport for $219. The packages are for 10 kids plus the birthday child and includes decorations, pizza, soda, cake and goodie bags. They provide plates, napkins, and balloons. The Crafty Kids package the children do two different crafts, while the Sporty Sports, they pick two games to play in the gym.

They also have a specific time for the balance beams and the trampoline. They have a separate party room for food and cake which you can decorate yourself. Their package allows for a larger number of kids. Birthday parties here allow 15 people total on the floor with one teacher and charge $200 for 1 1/2 hours to $250 for two hours.

The Y offers a ton of different party ideas. They have swim/gym parties where the kids can swim or bounce around in the gym. Parties at the Saratoga Springs Branch include games, music and party time, then it’s off to the pool for swimming or to the gym for fun in their Bouncy House and various sports related games. The Y also now does Bouncy Bounce Parties. They have a Bouncy Bounce Obstacle Course, Slide and Bouncy House. We have various packages to choose from with the use of their Bouncy Bounces. A multi-purpose creative art studio, where kids ages four and up can celebrate their birthdays. There are a variety of themes to choose from, such as Under the Sea, Safari, or the Circus. For $10 per person plus a material fee, they provide 2 hours of art space, all art set-up, cake time and clean up. You can choose clay, collages, mixed media, drawing, sculpture, sewing and much more. Great idea for the budding artist!
Saratoga Beads • 80 Henry Street • 584-7733 They are available for parties on Friday and Saturday nights from 6-8pm, Sundays from 10-12pm or 5-7pm. Children must be at least 7 years old. There is no minimum, but about 10 kids max. $60 to rent the studio and $10 for each child. This allows them to pick out enough beads to make two projects (necklaces, bracelets, anklets, etc). There is no food or drink allowed in the studio, so be sure to eat your cake before!

Just had a super birthday party for our daughter who is turning 5. Dream Ponies and Zoo came to our house, and were absolutely WONDERFUL with the children. Heather Parker (the owner) was prompt and professional in planning the party, arrived on time and had a well organized and planned event for our daughter. Two ponies came, as well as a few rabbits, two goats and a sheep. The kids had a fantastic time and were so excited and engaged the entire time. We have four kids, and this was by far the best preschool birthday party we have had yet!!

kk I have to also have to say Dream Ponies are spectacular! I had booked my daughter’s 4th birthday this past summer with TWO other places for pony rides, both of which cancelled on me….the last one 4 days before the planned party date!!! A last minute call to Dream Pony and my daughters birthday was a smash hit!! Thank goodness my desperate call was answered by their wonderful owner…Staff who came was excellent and the kids LOVED the ponies, bunnies, goats and sheep!! This is now our favorite party idea!!!
