Gavin Park has a beautiful playground, offering climbing apparatus and equipment for toddlers and young kids. Although they have a covered section to eat, the actual playground is in the direct sun.

The library offers a great space to spend a rainy afternoon, or for a change of pace. Downstairs is the child’s mecca, with the Rainbow Room, the Computer Area, many audio/visual discs, and the story and activity room. During the school year (fall through spring) the library offers multiple activities for children. There is Library Babies for under 2 years old, Parent/Child Workshop for 4-5 year olds, Toddler Storytimes for 2-4 year olds, Preschool Storytime for 4-5 year olds, Afterschool Workshops for K-2 or grades 3-5, and Saratoga Readers Junior Discussion Group for grades 4-6.

A great place to bring toddlers. Benches along the wall provide seating for parents, while your little one can run around.
Burgess-Kimball Park • Rowland Street
Nice playground for younger toddlers and older siblings. This playground offer shade, minimal seating within the park, and a sandbox (great for small children). Bring a lunch and eat in the covered picnic places right next to the playground.
West Side Recreation Park/ Division Street Rec. • Walnut Street • 587-3550
Complete with sprinkler and playground, this is a great place to play. The Spa City Moms Group also meets there each Friday from 11:30 to 1pm.
