Hi Mamatogians -let's go over events happening this weekend in the Spa City. Tomorrow is a busy day. Start it off right with a 5K Fun Run or Walk through the Saratoga Spa State Park benefiting Brachial Plexus Injuries. The cost is $20 per person and you can meet at the Warming Hut at 8:30, bright and early. If you are not a runner, try Reform Pilates Postpartum Workshop from 9-10. This class is free and is for mommies who want to learn the correct exercises to do after having their beautiful bundle of joy. They are located at 18 Division Street, Suite 203. After getting in a great workout, head over to Maple Avenue middle school, where the Children's Museum is hosting Big Truck Day. Lots and lots of big trucks - fire engines, buses, 18-wheelers and more. From 10am until 2pm, your little ones can get an inside view of the vehicles and have fun exploring. Cost is $5 per child and $1 for accompanying adult. The Tang Museum also has their Family Saturdays for the aspiring artist. This week's theme is Story Towers, where you will learn about Josh Dorman's complex collage/painting of a tower, and then create your own 3D cone-shaped collage. This is a free event taking place between 2-3:30. Reservations are recommended. Lots of fun for everyone! Also on Saturday, GE Kids In Free Days continue at SPAC with The Philadelphia Orchestra: Cirque de la Symphonie: Love and Romance at 8pm. You can buy lawn tickets for each paying adult and present those tickets at the gate on the night of the show to receive an equal number of FREE lawn tickets for fans 12 and under. Sunday, there is a Craft Fair at the VFW Post #420 at 190 Excelsior from 9am to 4pm. This is always a fun idea for a family outing. And don't forget the Track - you know that place on Union where 1,000's of people come and visit from around the country! Always a fun day to be had - especially if you're lucky. Well, hope everyone has a great weekend, and let us know if you attend any of these events. I know I'm heading to Big Truck Day, so say hello if you are there. I'll be the one handing out Mamatoga.com flyers!
