Mamatoga Daily: Tuesday, Sept. 6th

School is almost upon us readers! I can almost feel a collective anxiety and excitement buzzing around Saratoga about the new school year, pencils being sharpened and new school clothes hung up ready for the first day. We have a few events going on around town for Tuesday, so check them out!

  • Quinn the guest therapy dog is back at the Saratoga Springs Library today from 11am to noon. Quinn is a Newfoundland who is certified through Therapy Dogs International. This adorable pup loves people, especially kids, and loves to make people smile. He will be very happy to lie quietly and listen to any story you choose. Call 518-584-7860 ext. 3 on the day you would like to read to Quinn and sign-up for a 10 minute session. Quinn will be waiting to hear your favorite story in the Crawshaw Story Room!
  • Tuesday for Tots is on at the Children's Museum. This is a special time for the littlest visitors. Join them anytime between 10am - 12pm or 1-3pm for play dough, crafts, games and friends! Our afternoon session offers all the same fun and is perfect for morning preschoolers!
  • Starting today, yours truly (MamatogaJenny) will be teaching a children's yoga class for 4-7 year olds at One Yoga Saratoga from 4:30-5:30pm with a corresponding adult class in the same building at Hot Yoga Saratoga, so you can drop off the little one and get in an hour long workout at the same time! Check out the class descriptions and schedule for One Yoga Saratoga here, and the same for Hot Yoga Saratoga here. Drop ins are always welcome too! Namaste Mamatogians!
