Mamatoga Daily: Wednesday, Sept. 28th

We are doing our Marketplace again tomorrow, we have gotten a few new submissions and if you have anything you would like to add if you email it to us by noon tomorrow it can be part of the featured Marketplace post! Also send us your submissions for our next Book Club title, I have a few ideas myself that I will post later this week for everyone to discuss. Here are a couple items going on tomorrow, check them out mamas! Also, we are taking submissions for the best cider donuts in the area, which we will then vote for in the beginning poll of the MAMATOGA ULTIMATE CIDER DONUT CHALLENGE OF 2011!   • The Saratoga Library has Preschool Story Time for children ages 42 months – 5 years from 10:15-10:45am.  Toddler Story Time for children ages 24-42 months from 9:30-9:50am and 11-11:20am.
  • The Children's Museum has Alphabet Soup from 10:30-11:30am.  Starting with the letter A, each week they will learn a new letter of the alphabet through crafts, games, stories, songs and more. This multidimensional language experience is a fun way to reinforce early literacy in preschoolers! For more info check out their site here.
  • The Saratoga Farmers' Market is on today from 3-6pm at the High Rock Pavilions on High Rock Ave. The Saratoga 2011 Outdoor Market Season is into its fall fun time. Chef demos will return on Wednesdays, Locavore Challenge in September and coming soon, The Great Pumpkin Contest….The market is bigger than ever with over 50 LOCAL vendors. They have everything from meats to flowers, milk to veggies, pottery to soap, honey, ready-to eat food and yummy baked goods. Wednesdays there is a knife sharpener. All their products are locally grown/produced. Every market has live music, great hot/cold beverages and a sense of living strong.
