I hope everyone is staying dry today, we've already gotten drenched while out and about downtown today popping in to the Pink Paddock for a new iPhone cover and Four Seasons for snacks. And in between those two great places is the Irish Times Pub and Restaurant at 14 Phila St. the location of our First Annual Momster Bash & Benefit! When Julie and I decided to have a launch party for Mamatoga we knew we wanted it to be a benefit, and the Franklin Community Center and the Children's Museum at Saratoga seemed like the perfect fit! These two fantastic local organizations rely on support to keep their programs running, and we want to do all we can to help them out. We also love that we can help out locally right here in our fantastic city, because we believe that giving should start right where you live and we want to do whatever we can to help support, promote, and enrich this great local community that we are all so lucky to live in. The support we've been getting has also been pouring in from local businesses who have donated items for all of you to win as prizes at the benefit either through our raffle or our Costume Contest and we are truly grateful and humbled by how generous they have been and we just know you Mamatogians are going to want to go home with one of these prizes! We have items from Name Bubbles, One Yoga Saratoga, Max London's, The Body Lounge, Reform Pilates, Plum Dandy, the Saratoga Regional YMCA, Cascada Salon and Spa and many, many more! There truly is something for everyone. Plus we'll be offering kid friendly food and drinks, fun Halloween crafts and activities, live music, Halloween games and our Halloween Costume Contest! We are lucky enough to have it on the same day as the Saratoga Fall Festival which starts at 10am, so after you've checked out what downtown has to offer you can hop on over to the Momster Bash for a full day of Halloween family fun! It will be running from 1-4pm and tickets are on sale here now! If you buy tickets before the event you save $5 on adult admission and all kids under 12 are free! But today, in the spirit of giving we want to give away a pair of tickets to one Mamatoga winner, valued at $40. All you have to do to enter is "like" us on facebook and answer this trivia question in the comments section below: Earlier this week I talked about Epic Halloween Costume Fails, and one costume in particular that was pictured was a food item also feature in an old movie, what I want to know is, who wrote the book that that old movie is based on? Happy guessing readers!
