Mamatoga Daily: Monday, Dec. 19th

The calendar isn't packed for this Monday and that's probably a good thing, there are cookies to be made and presents to be wrapped and halls still needing to be decked! This weekend we gave you a great "no bake" recipe to try with the kids for some no muss, no fuss holiday treats that are adorable! We also have TWO polls for you to vote in, our Best Wings and Best Beer Editions, we thought they might go nicely with each other so go vote now and show your support for your local favorites! Now for our Spa Cascada winner, as I've said before I am SO glad I don't have to pick a winner myself, if it were up to us we'd have gift certificates for every mama that enters! We are so glad you all took the time to enter, and our randomly picked winner is Jen Burden! Jen just send us your address at mamatogablog@gmail or on facebook and we'll get that sent out to you! And stay tuned for even more giveaways coming soon, we've got tons of great stuff to give away to you fantastic readers!

  • Let's get started on that Book Club mamas! For the first installment of this edition of our Book Club we're going to read the first six chapters, since we won't be having a Book Club post next week because of the holiday that should give you plenty of time to discuss it by the time we come back to Book Club! If you didn't read the first post check it out here!
  • There will be a Seasonal Sing-Along for Kids program at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library tonight at  6:30pm. Families with children ages 3-8 are invited to attend the sing-along. Local performer and educator Diane Payette will lead this program filled with singing old favorites by the yule log sipping cider. No registration is required, and siblings are welcome.
