Tomorrow is the big day readers, we get to meet our new baby boy tomorrow morning at Saratoga Hospital. I'm nervous, and excited, then nervous again and excited again and I'm pretty much going back and forth between the two at regular intervals, but it is the best kind of nervous and the best kind of excited. After getting up around midnight the other night to dust my picture frames and fireplace I'm pretty sure I'm all set with the nesting, I've gotten everything in place and now it's just time to wait (and eat some last minute cookie cake).
While I'm taking just a little time off spending time with the newest member of our family I'm super excited that I have the help of some of my favorite local bloggers to keep you Mamatogians entertained! Before I tell you who is going to be helping me out, I just want to say how touched I am that they have all decided to pitch in. It really makes me smile to think about what a great community we have here in Saratoga Springs, and it is incredibly kind, generous and sweet that these bloggers have contributed to Mamatoga and I want to offer them all a huge thank you. I'll still be bringing you the Daily, pictures and some posts of my own and don't worry, I won't be gone for long! For now, let me tell you about some of the great stuff I'll have on Mamatoga for you guys.
First, welcome my brother Chris, reporting from beautiful San Diego, California. He is the father to my beautiful, amazing nieces and nephew, Stella who is 3, India who is 11 and Dante who is 14. He and his wife Megan, the Conservation Program Manager at the San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research have had the opportunity to travel quite a bit, and his first guest post for Mamatoga will be about the trip they took to China to work with the pandas when Dante and India were little.
- I have a bunch of local bloggers I featured in my Great Local Bloggers posts (here and here) like Wendy from Renovating Regent, Jess from Today Rowan Did This, Katie from The Gorsky Family, Erin from Capital Region Finds, Janelle from Domestically Seasoned and more!
- I'll be introducing my new Papatogian Contributor Tom Thibeault with his new column Just Two More Bites. Father of triplets and owner of Adirondack Appliance, Tom will be writing about, well, pretty much everything! Fatherhood, food and cooking, DIY projects, family life, local restaurants and activities and everything and anything in between!
- Plus I'm introducing my new Working Mom Guest Blogger Diane O'Connor this week too! Diane is a wife, proud mom of 2 pre-schoolers, and a marketing/PR career gal based in Saratoga. She adores her family and is passionate about her career and believes the daily juggle is never easy, but it is always an adventure!
So stay tuned for some great stuff from these amazing bloggers, I know you're going to love what they have to share with you, plus I have a great giveaway coming up for Friday as well! I'll be sure to share some pictures with you soon when I'll be Mamatoga of three!
