Mamatoga Daily: Thursday, Jan. 12th

So I'm not sure what the weather is going to turn out to be like for tomorrow, there will be some sort of "wintry mix" but I don't know what to expect, we shall see. But however it turns out, there are some fun activities going on around town! If you didn't get a chance to check it out yet, take a look at Part One of my Local Bloggers Series, there are some great local blogs to check out, and there will be more to come very soon so stay tuned!

  • From 10:30-11:3o join them at the Children’s Museum at Saratoga for Silly Science. Each week we will explore the different ways science is all around us! We will learn about water, forces, seasons, animals, and much more!
  • Join CMOST as they explore what’s in your night sky tonight at Homeschool Lab: Your Night Sky from 1-2:30pm. They’ll put together star finders, learn how telescopes work and get a tour of the night sky in the Lally Digital Dome and Planetarium in this fun and exciting introduction to backyard astronomy.  Ages: 6 to 11 year olds, $6.00 per child. Pre-registration is required.
  • Every Thursday at the Hyde Collection in Glens Falls join them for Tours for Tots. A weekly program designed especially for children ages 3-6 (accompanied by an adult chaperone), this free program offers a guided tour of part of the permanent collection. Following the tour, children are invited to create their own works of art. Sessions center around a new theme each week. Click here for more information.
