Mamatoga Daily: Wednesday, Jan. 4th

Although September seems REALLY far off, it is getting to be that time of year, time to think about preschools for next year! If you have a little one that is ready for preschool, check out today's post on all the happenings with registrations, fairs and open houses happening locally soon. I'll be updating it regularly to include all the information you need. And don't forget about the latest installment from Jeannine for Mamatoga's At Home Fitness series! Time to kick those New Year's resolutions into high gear mamas and papas! Here are the activities for tomorrow, have a great night!

  • Join them at the Children’s Museum for Alphabet Soup from 10:30-11am. Starting with the letter A, each week we will learn a new letter of the alphabet through crafts, games, stories, songs and more. This multidimensional language experience is a fun way to reinforce early literacy in preschoolers!
  • Head over to the Saratoga Library for Lego Club from 6:30-8pm! We will use our imaginations to create buildings, creatures, and other objects. In addition, we may have Lego games and “challenges.” This program will not include Lego robotics. Children in grades K-5 are welcome to participate. Parents and caregivers are also welcome to attend. Registration is not required, but space is limited. Meets the first Wednesday of each month.
  • Starting today there is a new exhibit at the World Awareness Children’s Museum: Chinese New Year. This exhibit, depicting the celebration of Chinese New Year will run through March 4th and the cost is free. Details can be found at www.worldchildrensmuseum.org.
