Mamatoga Top Ten: Equestrian Style for Little Girls

The weather is starting to warm up (slowly), the snow is melting and this gets me thinking about one thing-riding horses. Now that I'm not pregnant anymore I can get back in the saddle, and so can the kids. Lev just adores horses and can't wait to get back to the barn at North Country Horses. Horsey style has long since become a staple of my own style and I'm loving the little equestrian touches that I've started to inject into Lev's style as well. Here are my top ten picks for how to have a bit of equestrian flair for your own little horsewoman too.

The first thing you need is a good pair of wellies, and the cutest ones are from Joules. Levy's been wearing their boots as soon as they would fit her little feet and their cute and happy prints look even cuter covered in mud acquired from a fun day outdoors at the barn. Want to see these adorable boots in person? Stop by Saratoga Saddlery on Broadway for a great selection for girls.

You already know Zara kids is one of my go-to sites for mini-me style, and this quilted vest is definitely something I would take in my size. Classic and cute, this has horsey style written all over it.

I can't wait for polo season to start, and this perfect pint sized girls polo shirt will look so sweet on Levy.

Another great take on the quilted look is this coat by Crew Cuts. You can't beat J. Crew's kids' line for style, and the best part about this coat? It's machine washable, so you won't freak out when she comes home covered in pony hair.

I absolutely love the toddler and baby collection from Auggie, and this Pony Love duvet cover is my favorite. Cute without being cutesy, this print would be perfect for the little horse lover in your family.

This personalized equestrian print from etsy would look beautiful in a little girl's room.

These equestrian charms are so sweet, and I love the idea of adding a new one for each horse show Lev rides in. I love that they have real life charms like a hay bale, horse brush, boot pull and this horse blanket one.

A must have for any horse mad little girl is a Breyer Horse. I've been adding to Lev's collection since before she was born, and for every gift receiving occasion I pick up a new one for her. They have a fantastic selection downtown at G. Willikers on Broadway, and these well made toys are always a welcome present.

You can't help but love the cute ribbons you see on little girls at a horse show, and this sweet print captures that perfectly for me.

I've got this little purse on the list for Levy's birthday, I love the floral print and the horsey shape is sure to be a hit.
