I wanted to clear the air, as I've been getting a bunch of emails and messages from friends and supporters regarding the magazine. Saratoga Today and I co-created Mamatoga Magazine last spring, and I was so thrilled to be starting the first parenting magazine in Saratoga Springs and was so grateful for the opportunity to help grow the Mamatoga brand. I was hard at work on the spring issue when I heard yesterday from Saratoga Today that we would no longer be collaborating. I was disappointed and totally surprised, to put it mildly, as I had so much fun working with them and I loved producing the magazine and felt we had come a long way. Today I learned alongside everybody else that Saratoga Today would be continuing the parenting magazine with another local website, which was started after Mamatoga was created. I am in no way connected, or affiliated with this new magazine, even though it is stepping into the space that I had co-created with Saratoga Today.
I worked very hard at starting Mamatoga Magazine. I put my all into it and I am very proud of what we were able to produce. I started Mamatoga as a way to have fun sharing info with other families in our area. Mamatoga is run by just me and me alone, and although it was started off as a fun project, it has also turned into a vital way for me to support my family as well, and I am beyond appreciative of the support I have received so far and continue to receive.
That being said, I am so excited to be able to take Mamatoga Magazine on my own. I truly love where I live, and feel so lucky and blessed to be able to raise my family in such an incredible community, and I want that to come across in the magazine, as well as the websites.
If you have any questions, want to be a contributor, or just want to chat, I'm always here and I love reaching out and working with new people. This next issue of Mamatoga Magazine is going to be amazing, I have spoken with so many of you and I want to make this your magazine, sharing issues and stories from you, stuff that is on your minds as parents in this area. Shoot me an email at email@example.com, and I'm super excited to continue to share with you all.
