my weekend in photos...

Saturday morning ballet rehearsals are my new favorite thing. Levy gets to learn her little Nutcracker dance and I get to sit for a whole hour and read a magazine, or skim through Instagram, or just sit and listen to the beautiful music coming from the studio. We stopped and got a post rehearsal cookie at Sweet Mimi's and then spent the afternoon raking leaves. Which I HATE WITH A PASSION. The kids had a little fun with it, but we gave up and went on a hike instead, where you get to play in the leaves rather than rake them, stuff them into bags, etc., etc. We also had a nice little surprise when a bunch of you messaged/texted/tweeted me that our photo was on the Today Show! So fun! Sunday I was thrilled to be walking the catwalk for the 3rd Annual Catwalk for Kidneys to benefit the Northeast Kidney Foundation. Marilyn from Pin Ups Blow Bar did an incredible job on my hair, and it was such a moving event hearing everyone's stories as they had their turn on stage.

The weather was just too nice to pass up, so we went out in search of some fall fun. Face painting, slides, a petting zoo, jumpy castle and more took place before we went to Saratoga Apple to stock up on some baking stuff (and cider donuts, naturally). They had live reggae music yesterday too and we sat on the grass, ate our apples and listened and danced to the music. It was perfect. We tried Amigo's in Schuylerville for dinner and I must say it was pretty fantastic. I recommend the veggie chimichanga and the margarita. Oh my. If you want to catch the live music at Saratoga Apple, they have Country Fiddlers on Saturdays from 11-3 and Robanic Reggae from 2-5 on Sundays till the 21st, check out their event page here.

Still some weekend left today, hopefully it won't involve too much raking...xoxo
