Do You Use "Parenting" Apps?

SARATOGAHElicoptertours(1)I'm a big fan of iPhone apps, but mainly just for photos. I tend to download new apps and get super excited about them and then never use them. Or I use them once and then forget about them till I need more space and delete them. With the school year upon us though and my burning desire to get organized before that craziness begins, I'm looking for a few good apps to cut down on clutter even more (no note taking or sticky notes everywhere) and help us all get more organized and streamlined.

Here are a few I am going to try out...

Allowance Manager: My kids are just starting to get the concept of saving money and earning money. Spending money, however, is still something they don't have the best grasp on. We can step into any store and they immediately find something to buy, ANYTHING to buy, just to be able to buy something with their own money. I love the idea of teaching them how to keep track of their earned funds, and how to manage their money without spending it all. I also want to teach them the idea of how much the extra stuff costs the "Bank of Mom and Dad" as well, like movies and snacks, and how it all adds up. Click here to read more.

Instant playdates? Yes please.

Cozi is one of the only apps I have been using fairly consistently for a while now. It especially helps with keeping track of when after school activities are, and I love that there is a shopping list and meal ideas all in one place. Plus you can share the app with other family members to make sure everyone is on the same page.

What about you? Do you have any helpful apps that save your sanity and keep you organized? Share 'em in the comments section!
