TUES 11/24

Make & Take: Playdough is on Tuesday, November 24th from 1-1:30pm at The Children’s Museum at Saratoga, 69 Caroline Street Saratoga Springs. Cost is $2 per child (non member), $1 for members. Kids can make their very own batch of pumpkin pie or apple spice playdough! Learn the recipe step by step and then take your creation home to enjoy! They will even have a batch made up at the Museum, so you can play with some before you leave! Pre-registration is required. To pre-register, please call the Museum at (518) 584-5540.


WEDS 11/25

Thanksgiving is such a cute holiday for kids crafts, and this Wednesday, November 25th at Serendipity Arts Studio check out the Thanksgiving Crafts for Kids event from 10am to 11:30am. Cost is $10 and in this fun class your child will make crafts to help make your Thanksgiving table extra beautiful and sweet! They will make place cards (SO CUTE) and other beautiful table crafts. This class is open to children of all ages. Children under 8 must be accompanied an adult. This class runs from 10:00-11:30am and registration is highly recommended. Questions? THURS 11/26

Happy Thanksgiving! The 14th Annual Christopher Dailey Turkey Trot is today in Saratoga Springs! Each year, on Thanksgiving morning, thousands of runners (and walkers) congregate in Saratoga Springs to race in the annual 5K Turkey Trot race, which benefits the Christopher Dailey Foundation. The 14th Annual Christopher Dailey Turkey Trot will begin at 8:30am in front of City Hall. The entry fee is $23 on or before November 15 and $25 from November 16-25. The Turkey Trot course starts on Broadway in Downtown Saratoga Springs, then continues into Skidmore’s campus, and finishes on North Broadway. Click here to register now!


FRIDAY 11/27

Kids in the Kitchen: Food Adventures (While YOU Shop) is on Friday, November 27th at Healthy Living Market and Cafe on Route 50 in Saratoga Springs from 10am to 12pm. Get a nice start on holiday shopping and drop your kiddos off while you shop! In this special class, kids will make their very own chicken pot pies and perform a series of kitchen-science experiments while you’re chipping away at your gift list. They’ll even make a light, from-scratch afternoon dessert and make sure there’s time to eat it all so by the time you come back to collect your little ones, their tummies will be full and your shopping list will be smaller!  Please note that this class is an hour longer than usual, so don’t worry about those long lines you’ll find everywhere: you have extra time!  Plus, they’ll be sending you off with a coupon to help you get you started, so this is really one class you won’t want to miss!
