Mamatoga Daily: Monday, Sept. 26th

I hope all of you had a great weekend, there were so many fun activities going on around town! We have just a couple activities on the Daily for tomorrow, and stay tuned to Mamatoga for a really excellent recipe by Kim our contributing cooking author, we know you're going to love it and it is something to do with the kids!

  • The Saratoga Library has their Parent/Child Workshop from 9:15 – 10:30 and 10:45 – 12pm for kids aged 12-36 months.  Their Toddler Story Time is from from 9:30  – 9:50 for 24-42 month olds and the Preschool Story/Music Program is from 10:15-10:45 for 42 month – 5 year olds.  And don't forget about their Baby Massage class from 6-6:45pm!
  • The Saratoga Library is also offering this great FREE workshop for high school students applying for college: WRITE YOUR WAY TO ACCEPTANCE at 7 pm. This presentation will highlight the essay-writing portion of the college admission process. Attendees will receive information about how to write a successful essay, steps to take when considering a topic, and what college admission counselors look for.   • Saratoga Hospital - Regional Therapy Center, 225 Washington Street from 9am-2pm.  Childhood Development Screening.  Knowledge is power. Find out how you can best help your child (ages 3-5) prepare for preschool with a free developmental screening courtesy of the Regional Therapy Center.  Hearing, speech, language, fine and gross motor skills will be evaluated  by an Occupational Therapist and Speech Language Pathologist.   • Check out the Prestwick Chase Farmers’ Market open every Monday in Saratoga Springs from 3pm-6pm through October 3rd. See a wide variety of local vendors from Saratoga County and surrounding areas offering fresh produce, meats, and other local goods. Click their link for directions.
