Family Camping for New Year's at Joshua Tree National Park

My brother Chris and his wife Megan spent the New Year at Joshua Tree National Park in California with their three kids, Dante (16), India (13) and Stella (5) along with four other families and some friends, about twenty people in total. I had the chance to visit Joshua Tree when we were in Palm Springs a few years ago, and it is such a unique and incredible place. I definitely want to try camping out there, and New Year's Eve seems like a particularly cool time to try it. Here are some of the really amazing photos from their experience, taken by their friend Joe Mattox. My well traveled brother also shared a post about the time he spent with the family in China's Wolong National Nature Reserve while Megan was continuing research on the Giant Pandas, click here for that post (baby panda cuteness alert).
